LET’S GO 🚀

What weather is going to be today?

DeepMind, owned by Google, created GraphCast, a machine learning model for weather forecasting. It is faster and more accurate than traditional methods and those based on AI. It works in minutes on desktop computers, while others take hours. Trained on data from 1979 to 2017, GraphCast effectively identifies weather patterns, outperforming the European Center for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts' HRES system. Despite its effectiveness, challenges remain in understanding AI's decision-making processes and potential biases in the data. Experts predict that the real application of such forecasts will take several more years.

DeepMind has done it again, not only do they already dominate in chess and Go, but now they decided to show that they will also be the best at predicting the weather.

AI Marketing

OfferFit, the Boston startup founded by George Khachatryan, raised $25 million in a Series B round to advance its digital marketing innovations using machine learning. Their platform, using reinforcement learning, personalizes marketing messages, increasing the effectiveness of communication channels and moments. Thanks to this, they achieved impressive results, including: 120% increase in revenue for Liberty Latin America and 450% increase in value for Brinks Home Security. Capital One Ventures was interested in investing in OfferFit, appreciating their successes in automating personalized marketing messages. The fresh funding will enable product expansion, including the development of AI's ability to generate marketing content.

OfferFit and their $25 million is another example of how AI not only predicts our needs, but also knows exactly how to convince investors to open their wallets!

YouTube is changing the rules of the game

YouTube introduces new rules on AI content: mandatory disclosure of videos with AI content, especially on sensitive topics, to prevent disinformation. It also introduced Dream Screen, an AI tool for creating video backgrounds. Creators who do not disclose the use of AI may face consequences such as content removal. YouTube also allows you to report deepfakes and AI music imitating artists, with exceptions for parodies and reports. This reflects YouTube's evolving approach to AI content and misinformation.

YouTube's decision to require disclosure of AI use in videos is a very smart step towards transparency and accountability. I'm in!

Videos

It's an innovative video editing tool that adapts to the way your team works. It is a collaboration platform that integrates resource management, editing and viewing of video content.

It is a generative AI platform that significantly speeds up the process of creating video documentation for business. Thanks to this technology, your team can produce video materials up to 11 times faster than traditional methods.

This platform revolutionizes the way companies can transform their marketing resources. It enables the creation of new content from existing materials, which is crucial in a content repurposing and distribution strategy.
