Job search coach

LinkedIn has surpassed 1 billion users and has introduced artificial intelligence in the form of a chatbot, developed using GPT-4 from OpenAI, to support users as a "job search coach." The AI chatbot helps assess the suitability of job offers for users and suggests how to improve their chances of applying for a new job. LinkedIn has significantly updated its platform to provide users with the best experience on its platform.

LinkedIn introduces these innovations with us, the users, in mind. However, it is worth remembering that their ultimate goal is to generate profit and constantly increase its revenues.

AI steals Scarlett Johansson's voice!

Scarlett Johansson is filing a lawsuit against the creator of an AI app for the unauthorized use of her voice in an advertisement. The advertisement for the Lisa AI: 90s Yearbook & Avatar application contained an artificially generated voice of the actress, without her consent. Although the ad noted that the images were produced by AI and were not associated with Johansson, her representatives confirmed that she was never a spokeswoman for the app. As AI develops, similar legal issues can be expected as the technology can clone voices and create deepfakes, which will lead to more celebrities' images being used without their consent.

Despite all efforts to counteract this phenomenon, including taking legal action against the creators, it seems that we are unable to stop the growing wave of deepfakes using our images and voices. This is a phenomenon that we will probably have to come to terms with as it becomes an integral part of today's digital reality.

Equal Rights for All!

During the World AI Summit in the UK, China's Vice Minister of Science and Technology, Wu Zhaohui, called for equal rights in the development and use of AI, emphasizing mutual respect and sharing of AI knowledge. Discussions also touched on the need for more stringent controls on AI, pointing to existential risks. Meanwhile, geopolitical tensions are rising as the US restricts China's access to advanced AI processors. Former British Prime Minister Liz Truss criticized China's participation, but China defends its involvement, emphasizing the need for comprehensive global discussions on AI governance.

China appears to be concerned about its position in the global technology race, especially in the field of artificial intelligence, which may explain its calls for equal access to technology and international cooperation so as not to fall behind other countries.
