Seoul has announced plans to use drones and artificial intelligence to monitor traffic. The new system was tested in September and October, during the Seoul International Fireworks Festival, where drones monitored crowd density and road conditions, especially in areas devoid of surveillance cameras.

It will be interesting to see if AI will be able to predict traffic jams better than the masters of this field, namely cab drivers.
