EU finally first at something

The European Union has established the AI Act. Led by Dragoș Tudorache, the act classifies AI into four levels of risk and places bans on certain applications. Chatbots, such as ChatGPT, are classified as limited-risk creations. The regulations aim to ensure AI development is human-centric and balances technological advances with human well-being. The EC is also working with the AI industry to develop voluntary internal rules.

Is this the same European Union, which usually has difficulty getting along on anything, the first in the world to establish AI regulations? Bravo!
